This Noteboook case is traditionally hand-made following Bangladesh’s ancient local craft of “Kantha”. Kantha is a  skill used to make blankets for the winter using beautiful multicoloured thread.  By using this ancient practice recycled saris have been hand sown to make quilted Kantha “blankets” for laptop and iPads etc.  A gorgeous example of how traditional practices can be adapted for modern day living!

Each of the bags are individually hand made with to co-ordinate with a red or orange zip and co-coordinating lining and softly padded for protection.

Given the individual nature of the product the pattern and colour will vary.

Kantha – is a type of embroidery typical of eastern South Asia, especially in the Indian states of West Bengal and Odisha, and in Bangladesh. Kantha stitching is used to make simple quilts, commonly known as Nakshi Kantha. Given the individual nature of the product the pattern and colour will vary.
